EDUCATION & ENTERTAINMENT

Learning more about the art, industry, and history of tattooing lets us dive deeper into our own practice. Tattooing is what it is today because of the well known legends, and unsung heroes that pioneered it. Their stories, and the artists who are still pushing the industry forward have a lot to teach us. We have a lot to learn.

Tattoo documentaries and shows have long been scattered across the internet and and hiding in dark corners like spooked cats. We scoured, coaxed those lil’ sweeties out of the shadows, and talked it out. They were hesitant, but ultimately warm, and receptive. The’ve been cuddling up cozy in our library ever since.
